The Replace Audio function allows operators to replace the existing audio track of a section of the delayed content with a selected audio file.
This operation can be used when the video content should remain unchanged while the associated audio needs to be modified, removed, or replaced with alternative material.
To replace an audio segment:
1. Position the Editor at the point where the replacement should begin.
2. Set the required Mark In position.
3. Select the replacement audio file from the available media library.
4. Execute the Replace Audio command.
The selected audio is inserted starting from the Mark In position, replacing the existing audio content from that point onward.
After the operation is completed, a marker is automatically added to the Timeline, allowing operators to easily identify and review where the audio replacement has been applied.
Timeline Behavior
The video timeline position is maintained, while only the audio content is modified.
The replacement audio duration determines how long the new audio remains active from the selected insertion point. Operators can preview the result before the content reaches the on-air output and perform additional adjustments if required.
The Replace Audio operation does not affect the video stream, allowing precise audio-only corrections during live censorship workflows.
