99.2.4 Load Cluster From Etere

SQL Connection and Cluster Loading

The CENSOR EX desktop application can connect to the Etere SQL database to retrieve schedules and load clusters for censorship operations.

Before opening the schedule, the SQL connection must be correctly configured.

SQL Connection

The application supports the following authentication methods:

• Windows Authentication: Uses the credentials of the currently logged-in Windows user.

• SQL Server Authenticatio: Uses a SQL Server user account (for example, sa or another SQL user with the required permissions).

After entering the connection parameters, click Connection Test to verify that the application can successfully connect to the SQL database.

The connection must be successfully established before schedule information can be retrieved.

Loading a Cluster

Once the SQL connection has been configured:

1. Launch the CENSOR EX desktop application.

2. Click Open Schedule to display the available clusters.

3. Select the desired cluster.

4. Right-click the cluster and select Load this Cluster in CENSOR EX.

The selected cluster is loaded into the application playlist, making its clips available for scheduling and censorship operations.

Cluster Status

Clusters that contain missing or unavailable media files are highlighted to allow operators to identify them immediately.

If a cluster transmission fails or needs to be repeated, its status can be reset by right-clicking the cluster and selecting Set Cluster Not Transmitted.

Once reset, the cluster becomes available again for loading and transmission.
